Led 7 projects for IBM at Havas Worldwide. Managed 5 concurrent clients while leading multiple in-house teams for digital, video, content, UX/UI and branding. Each project below represents a different client group within IBM.

Solve It with IBM
Working with IBM Originals, we focused on reinventing the way that IBM communicates with their customers.
The Challenge
We were tasked with taking a typically dry, yet fact-driven white paper about banking and turning that paper into an immersive digital experience.
Using only the most relevant data we told the story of how IBM’s technology empowers companies to know their customers better and therefore tailor their marketing (and product offerings) precisely for them. Then we brought that data to life through interactive infographics and video.
Knowing that our target audience is often time strapped, we kept the UX journey as simple as possible for our users. Although the quality of each piece of communication represents the IBM brand, we kept in mind that the business objective of this this digital experience was to generate calls for sales.

Working At Havas
Havas New York, hired me for a series of IBM projects, many with a mix of digital & video. Soon after starting I was given 5 different IBM client accounts with their creative and production teams to look after.
Havas was so happy with my handling of the IBM work, that I was introduced to their CCO as a promising talent. This is at an agency of 1,200 employees.
Managing Teams
I looked after 7 projects in total; and 5 client groups overlapped. It was a lot of work, but also quite rewarding. I really enjoy lifting the spirit of my teams and helping them to do their best work. My teams responded so strongly and were quite vocal about being happy working together.
Desktop & iPad Experience
We were one of the very first teams to adapt IBM’s new design language from that Swiss print design style into the more flexible digital world. And IBM’s branding team was very happy with the results.

IBM Think Promo
Scripted, storyboarded, and led motion graphics sizzle ad for IBM’s Think platform.

Our brief was to distill IBM’s history of insight and create excitement for its world of vision and innovation. I developed the script and art direction for this sizzle video which I presented to IBM’s team. Then led the design and motion graphics work.

Project:
IBM Banner Campaigns
I led 3 banner ad campaigns for IBM Blockchain, IoT & Watson.
While managing 4 other IBM client groups, I inherited some of IBM’s online advertising. Having animation experience myself with Adobe Animate, I was able to work closely with the Havas’ animation and development tea. They were very happy that a CD would know the ins and outs of their work and worked very hard to bring these to life.
I wish I had the animation files to put here because the subtlety of animation is what gave these a sense of refinement.
